- Early this year, a frigate flying the colors of the Prince of Naerie is spotted docked at Gradsul in Keoland. It is thought to serve as a deterrent to the Scarlet Brotherhood. (LGG p.72)

- The Lordship of the Isles capture the warship Moon’s Vigil, taking twelve elves captive. The ship had sunk three Lordship vessels the previous year. (LGJ #3 p.28)
- The siege at Rinloru continues. The undead army grows, now including at least a dozen acidic skeleton golems. (LGJ #3 p.28)
- Tensions grow in North Kingdom when Patriarch Halldrem of Hextor speaks some ill-chosen words regarding the realm’s orcish armies. A band of orcs attempts to murder him, but he defends himself with a blade barrier spell, resulting in the deaths of four dozen market patrons. (LGJ #3 p.28)
- Nyrond offers a reward of 1,000 gp for the capture of the bandit Crippled Max. (LGJ #3 p.28)

- On Growfest 1, Herdsman Krevaradan’s clerics summon six gelugons to fight the slave uprising in the Hold of the Sea Princes after being denied reinforcements from his ally Herdsmistress Maleshev on Coldeven 4th. Utavo’s forces flee and hundreds of slaves are recaptured. (LGJ #3 p.30)
- In spring, humanoids attack the Shield Lands, raising concerns of a concerted attack by Iuz. In Critwall, there are rumours of treason amnong the nobles. Food shortages lead to rising food prices. There is talk of the Shield Lands going on the offensive against Iuz. (LGJ #3 p.30; LGJ #4 p.30)
- Lindus Mallaman, cleric of Heironeous in Sterich, is found dead and his body hanged from statue of the Valorous Knight in Istivin. The statue bleeds from its wrists for three days. (LGJ #3 p.30)
- A prophet of Erythnul leads mobs who kills dozens in Vleekstaad. Rhelt Sevvord ends the three-day killing spree by personally killing the prophet with a waraxe. (LGJ #3 p.30)
- Emissaries go missing in the County of Ulek en route for Celene. The priceless elven Starlight Loom goes missing. (LGJ #3 p.30)
- Thieves raid the vault of Rudd Rockcutter in the Principality of Ulek. Orcish graverobbers are suspected. The orcs are also believed to have enslaved a large number of humans. (LGJ #3 p.31; LGJ #4 p.31)
- Agents of Iuz capture Molosh Khan, fifth son of Tarkhan Bargru of the Wolf Nomads, demanding a large ransom. Bargru sends the payment along with the severed head of Iuz’s emissary. Iuz returns Bargru’s son as an armless reanimated corpse. (LGJ #3 p.31)

- In early Planting, Elder Sister Edevedrin of the Scarlet Brotherhood arrives to congratulate Herdsman Krevaradan for his capture of the town of Kusnir. The next night, 55 Olman prisoners disembowel themselves in a grim ritual which conjures nagaul demons. Utavo the Wise, wielding an ancient jeweled gauntlet, commands the demons to eviscerate the Scarlet Brotherhood guards. (LGJ #4 p.30)
- Lord Artin of Brotton is killed by bandits while hunting near Radigast City, and is succeeded by his brother Erthan. Mayor Nimar of Dosselford is rescued by adventurers while exploring the the Crystal Springs in the County of Urnst, and not for the first time. (LGJ #4 p.31)

- CY 591 His Serene Highness, Prince Olinstaad Corond of Ulek asked Greyhawk and Keoland for help in the current war effort; he also sent parties into the Suss Forest to uncover the reason for Turrosh Mak’s recent obsession with the region, it fell on deaf ears.

- Voorman Karenin of Perrenland’s term in office ends. (LGG p.86)
- Prince Thrommel IV is declared dead by his father Belvor IV, after having disappeared near the northern border of his realm, Furyondy, in 573 CY.[citation needed]
- A large pack of wolves in the vicinity of the Doomgrinder is dispersed. (Doomgrinder)
- Derider Fanshen, city constable of Greyhawk, plans to retire. (The Adventure Begins p.63)
- Gaspar, former Beggarmaster of the Greyhawk, returns to the city to find his lover Haarkon Diardra has been killed by Beggar’s Union treasurer Simeon Hellwater. Gaspar robs Hellwater’s home to pay for a true resurrection for Diardra, then retakes control of the Beggar’s Union by simply killing Hellwater. (LGJ #17)
- At Gair Hur, the twice-annual meeting of the hueleneaer centaurs is interrupted by Lord Robilar, and devolves into fighting. (Polyhedron #157 p.30)
- A Baklunish servant of Rary the Traitor gains the favor of Onnwal when he claims credit for the rescue of Szek Jian Destron of Onnwal from the Scarlet Brotherhood. (LGJ #15)

Attacks from the Ehtereal Plane Cyborgs in Blackmoor
- Early this year, the wall around Rary the Traitor’s fortress is complete. His control of the Bright Desert is nearly absolute. (LGJ #21)
- A horde of creatures from the Ethereal Plane attack northern Tenh, slaying 150,000 in a single day and turning the fertile plains to dust. (Realm of Dust)
- Vendrik Vanderboren establishes a colony on the Isle of Dread. (Dungeon #141 p.18)
- Pelorite Anderann Parquann leads a party to the Palace of Shattados. He is the only survivor of the excursion, and is afflicted with madness. (The Brightlands)
- Shutdown of the Endless Well, an oerthblood mine, is completed. (Return of the Eight p.47)
- A covey of vampire druids is destroyed in the vicinity of the Doomgrinder. (Doomgrinder)
- Adventurers in Kalstrand claim to have discovered one of the Crypts of the Iron Souls. (Glorvardum; Fading Lands)

- In Brewfest, Finnadrel of Delaric claims to have escaped a “war without end” raging in Rauxes, though his account is disputed due to his past as a fraudster. (Places of Mystery I)
- Cauldron is afflicted by a kidnapping/slaver ring, eventually leading to a conflict with a demon lord. (The Shackled City Adventure Path begins.)
Blackmoor
- 593 CY: A group of adventurers discover the Ran of Ahfoo in the dungeons beneath the ruins of Starmorgan. The desperate cyborg offers to create technomagical devices for them which will render them impervious to the Egg of Coot’s mental powers, in exchange for his freedom. A deal is struck and the cyborg, under threat, completes the devices. Wearing these devices the adventurers sneak into the March of Coot, penetrate the Nest and smash the Egg to bits, ending the Egg once and for all. In the ensuing chaos, most of the adventurers escape.
- Leaderless, the cyborgs guarding the Comeback Inn become confused and directionless. Dannic Olson, now also freed from the Coots influence and sensing opportunity, releases the nobles trapped inside. Dannic buys the Inn
- from the surviving Cripps family, who are more than happy to leave the place after decades of being unable to leave the inn.
- Ever working in his own best interest, Dannic begins acting as a double agent, sending reports to Archbaron Bestmo on the activities of Baron Fant.
- Nyrndyr Zvenzen and brother Hathrik lead a quick, daytime assault on the Zvenzen vampires who the Egg had placed in charge of Williamsfort, cleaning out the place and reclaiming it for the living Zvenzen family. Hathrick is killed however when he hesitates to kill the last vampire, the child-like Ingak Zvenzen. Nyrndyr does not make the same mistake.
- Irkswin Rall sends messengers to Nyrndyr demanding fealty. Nyrndyr refuses, placing him in open rebellion against the baron. Rall chooses to ignore it.
- Archbaron Bestmo recognizes the claims of all the “lost” barons and lords returned from captivity in the
- Comeback Inn, hoping to gain allies and solidify his claim on the marches.
- Nine witches of the Red Coven form the Nyma Urd council and claim rulership over the baronage of Coot. The coven begin battling a mysterious supernatural force they call “The Grey”.317
- Evard Vernek III reclaims his seat at Lock Gloomin as rightful baron.
- Uberstar Khazakhum welcomes the return of Rodrigo Zvenzen and offers a co-baronage with him. Uberstar grants control of surface matters to Rodrigo, while he retains rulership of the dwarven mines and underground affairs.
- Rodrigo begins rebuilding Newgate from a total ruin

- In Coldeven, the Scarlet Brotherhood raids Onnwal, attacking Sornhill and Longbridge. Onnwal signs an alliance with the United Kingdom of Ahlissa, protecting them against the Brotherhood but conceding to Ahlissa’s claim to Idee. (Piecing Together the Splintered Sun)
- Ricard Damaris’ wife and daughter abandon the Free City of Greyhawk and return to their ancestral lands outside the city of Dyvers. (Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk p.10)

Blackmoor
- Incensed at the loss of his ally, but sensing the opportunity of a quick conquest, Iuz invades Blackmoor. The dwarven mines of Orchocho are placed under siege while the bulk of Iuz’s army moves north.
- Irkswyn Rall declairs Eraks neutral and sends emissaries to Iuz.
- Unable to defend Newgate, Rodrigo escapes to Williamsfort.
- Baron Fant allies with Iuz. Baron Rall attempts to remain neutral. Baron Ungulian allies with Bestmo.
- A costly year long war ensues but sees Iuz defeated. Archbaron Bestmo, Von Hercebeiner V, Baron Nyrndyr Zvenzen and Baron Idris Arthous are killed in battle. Brothers Glormak and Avodrim Zvenzen go missing, fate unknown.
- Baron Ungulian (werewolf) hunts down and kills his uncle, Baron Fant (vampire). Ungulian mysteriously ages and dies soon afterwards.
